An unlikely hero emerged, come across the stars on a falcon, of sorts, looking somewhat between what the sasquatch and the woolly mammoth would conceive to look, and trumpeting sounds that are often mimicked, but never emulated. And he went something like this:

“Rrrrrrrrwwwwwwaaaaaaah!” or “Raaaarrrgh!”

The language of this hero (for despite appearances, he was of the blue team, not the red team) was known as Shyriiwook, and was like the sound made by bears, walruses, lions, and badgers. All together. And he was a ferocious fighter for the blue team, like all of those animals rolled into one, and standing on his hind legs. And he could fly a spaceship. Was there nothing this “Chewy” could not do?

Legend has it he commanded the joined forces of the Wookiees and Republic Army’s 41st Elite Clone Trooper Corps during the Battle of Kashyyyk in the final days of the Clone Wars. Following the execution of Order 66, Chewbacca helped Yoda elude the clone troopers and escape Kashyyyk, but don’t quote me on this 😉
