Remember those mystery magazines you used to get as a kid? And how you’d spend hours pouring over the grainy black and white images of flying saucers and UFO sightings, and the articles about the aliens, the extra-terrestrials. the “grey men” who used to wake people up from their sleep with bright lights and then take them away on their spaceships and throw special parties for them?
And how you used to look up into the night sky and try count like all the stars in the universe and wonder which one/s of them held intelligent life, and whether that life was standing outside, just like you, looking up and trying to count all the stars in the universe and wondering who, in turn, was doing that same thing?
Then you grew up, right, and the internet came along, and everybody’s opinions began to mean something and the F.B.I debunked all those theories as unwarranted conspiracies, as well as Area-51 and Roswell, and the grainy black and whites turned out to be some guy painting frisbees silver and throwing them for some other guy holding a shaky Nikon?
